The Wine Label Course (a typography class for the inner lush) will include the following:
- In class discussion about the history and nuances of different types of alcohols and marketing strategies. Discussion will include reference images for students to look over for inspiration when in class work times comes.
- Short lecture on graphic design elements used in labelling, as well as framing of illustration on labels.
- What is the beverage that you have today? What are you looking to showcase about this bottle? If needed, research the type of alcohol and what sort of imagery or knowledge is associated with it. Is it a gift? Is is humorous, does it showcase only graphic design, or does it include an image?
- Start Graphic Design of label - scan, edit, and print new label in class! You now have a finalized gift for a loved one, and the knowledge and skills to do it again!
- AND a free bottle of wine per participant!
