Kids Art Program & Teens Creator Program

Students can never start too early when it comes to art!

Give yourself a leg up in the competition by starting early! Kids & Teens course cover a wide range of topics, many different techniques, and art theory, all while continuing to be fun and inspiring!

 

 

KIDS ART PROGRAM
Saturdays: April 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25
10:00am – 12:00pm
ages 6-13

The Program will provide kids with the opportunity to learn more about the comic book industry, animation fundamentals, and the art world as a whole.
The Kids Program includes 6 – two hour lessons and 12 topics. Parents will need to fill out the Registration Form to provide their personal contact information and sign the agreement form regarding the Rules and Conduct of the Kids Program.

We do recommend that parents/guardians register their children for the entire series of lessons, so that the young artists can gradually learn the main concepts and progress throughout the whole course by having what they’ve learned in each lesson build upon one another.

Our programs provide the training and framework to stimulate children’s creativity and develop their artistic abilities. Students artistic individuality will flourish in this environment designed to guide students through Comic Art using drawing, cartooning, storytelling, character design, and much more.

Our instructors, who are working comic artists themselves, will demonstrate and teach students numerous formal techniques including
proportion, perspective, composition, 3D drawing, and the principles of character design.

CREATOR TEENS PROGRAM

Develop characters and introduce them in a short sequential story written by you!

Continue to develop your artistic goals in comic books with working professionals as you learn the fundamentals of being a comic book artist. All within a creative environment of like minded students, in a studio learning environment.

The class will provide you with a thorough understanding of how the comic book industry works, motivate you to push your art to new levels, and introduce you to a group of peers that share your interests and that you can feel comfortable sharing work with.

Our program offers the training and framework to stimulate your creativity and develop your artistic and storytelling abilities. Our talented instructors, who are working comic artists themselves, will demonstrate and teach students numerous formal techniques including: Fundamentals, Figure drawing, Composition & Storyboarding, Color Theory and Digital Production.

These instructors will encourage your individual artistic style to flourish in an environment designed to guide students through Comic Art using traditional and advanced techniques, cartooning, script-writing, character design, and much more.

Each year consists of 384 hours classes: 192 Theory | 192 training
